A busy time of the year on our certified organic permaculture property!
800 organic basil and salad seedlings are ready for planting, thornless blackberries are providing us with bowls of luscious fruit for breakfast, asparagus picked, apples, quince, plums, apricots, nectarines, nashi, figs, olives, almonds, grapes, thornless blackberries etc netted against our native bird population. Our poultry forage system is working a treat, providing us with dozens of free range eggs every week, and we are very happy to say we are generating around 90% or more of our fresh produce requirements for our “plant” based menu.
