The Beach Organics Coffee Project initially evolved from a personal passion for delicious coffee.
Funding from the SA Food & Beverage Fund enabled me to explore the craft and science of coffee roasting with Peter Wolff from Wolff Coffee in Brisbane.
Co-incidentally, over the last decade Beach Organics has also established a unique and extensive Traditional Farmers network in one of the largest coffee growing regions in the world .... Indonesia! It seemed logical to use this existing network to source our own direct / fair traded, premium, single origin green beans for roasting.
A preference is placed on sourcing organically grown beans!
The purchase of our own coffee roasting machine, related equipment and voila, the Beach Organics Coffee Roastery was finally born in 2014!
Emphasis is placed on serving superb barista made coffee to our customers at the Beach Organics Store at The Market Shed on Holland Street, Adelaide CBD and establishing a facility to enable our customers to enjoy our freshly roasted beans at home.
Our second, full time Beach Organics Store is also now open at Plant 4, Bowden in Adelaide!
What could be more appropriate than carefully sourced and roasted coffee to fit our existing product range!
