What a journey …. this is a long one, so sit down, w a cuppa …
We’ve had loads of fun … and admittedly a few headaches, designing our new Beach Organics Store at PLANT 4 Bowden!
From steel and concrete we’ve designed our perfect Adelaide HQ under the PLANT 4 umbrella!
We’ve travelled the world to our favourite places to source & design our hand made tiles, purchase hand adzed teak bowls for our stock, process our organic vanilla beans, source the best organic cacao to make our chocolate, process and roast our own organic coffee beans, make our own sea salt & purchase our new coffee “dream” machines … a new San Remo Opera and a restored 1940’s French lever machine. The list goes on ….
Closer to home our certified organic Permaculture property is pumping out the freshest herbs and vegetables to use in our new PLANT BASED KITCHEN!
We’re easing into our new home and currently open Wednesdays, Friday’s and Saturdays and aiming to open 5 – 7 days per week soon!
A huge thank you to Peter, Marilyn, Chris and Jono from PLANT 4, Spiros the architect, Renewal SA, Chad our gun barrister, who has risen to every challenge w amazing tenacity & for laying those incredibly awkward but beautiful tiles, Wayne, his dad for his advice, Dave and Matt the electricians, Paul the plumber and all the other trades, technicians, Paul from Chess, Stepheno from Coffee Machine Technologies in Melbourne, Lino, Jo from Fly furniture, brother John at Dog Dragon Shop for loads of amazing furniture and long chats over a beverage or two, Nymphea our architect friend in Indonesia for our extraordinary mirrors, granite tops and teak tables, our wonderful “extended” family in the Beach Organics Traditional Farmers network in Indonesia and Morocco, Jack our farm manager, Garth and Sandra for their technological expertise & Darryl for his advise on our shop layout and carpentry skills.
